When are application deadlines, and do I need test scores?
Early Action deadline: November 1, with decisions by Christmas. Westmont is test-optional—submit the SAT/ACT only if they strengthen your application.
How do I register for classes and get advising?
New students register online in late July (transfers: July 25–27; first‑years: July 30–August 2). Academic advisors include faculty and Student Life staff, with a toll-free line available July 24–August 3.
When can I move in?
Move‑in for fall begins August 23 by scheduled time slots. Exceptions are made for orientation trips and certain special groups.
What residential options are available?
95% of students live on campus in six traditional halls or the off‑campus Ocean View apartments. Housing selection opens shortly after confirmation.
What about AP/IB credit and transfer courses?
AP (scores 4–5) and IB HL (5–7) credits are accepted, up to 32 units. GE courses taken elsewhere require pre-approval and letter grades (C– or better), with a transfer cap of 64 units total.
